Reflection
I personally think that this module focuses more on theory of history. It is more knowledge based on history towards buildings in the past compared to other modules. It requires plenty of effort to remember several facts on specific details and passion. Similar to a general history term, this module is basically to make people appreciate and learn about how buildings in the past were built since there are many urban myths and legends that have been made. In most cases it focuses more towards factual statement and description. Furthermore, overall there are only two assignments in total and examination quiz were held on the last weeks of semester. The Taylor's TGC that I can obtain from this module would mostly be discipline specific knowledge.
Assignment I
Sketching analysis
In this assignment, the task were to sketch and analyse specific details and mainly history of the structure. This gives a brief explanation on story and its traits. Thus, giving information and knowledge about its characteristics. The assignment was provided with plenty of pictures drawn to make it more infographic and less on text. In my opinion, this makes any reader intrigued on reading and finding information.
Assignment II
Analysis report
In assignment ii, the report is somewhat similar to previous one but more specific and only research buildings in Malaysia. The assignment was broke down to few different groups. In our group we were assigned to do analysis on Stadium Merdeka and Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka. The information were varies. In the group, we were divided into different task for quicker work and lesser time consume. The data were mostly collected from the internet as it was the most feasible way of obtaining the information. In further context, analysis on the building were to be specify for more explanation and clarification.
